ACTS - Actions in Christ's Teachings
Sharing to the world the true teachings of Christ Jesus!
Our Mission:
"To embody our lives through the actions inspired by the teachings of Christ."
At ACTS – Actions in Christ’s Teachings, our mission is to intentionally grow daily in our resemblance to Jesus Christ. This ongoing journey encourages each believer to love and live more like Him, mirroring His words and actions. As we increasingly reflect the character of Jesus, we naturally engage in the works He exemplified. Consequently, the focus of the church shifts from mere activities to our identity; it becomes less about performing ministry and more about embodying Christ for our families, communities, and the world.

ACTS - Actions in Christ's Teachings
Our Vision:
At ACTS – Actions in Christ’s Teaching, our vision ignites a passionate transformation in every believer, inspiring us to become true imitators of Jesus. When we wholeheartedly surrender our hearts to Jesus Christ, embracing Him as our Savior and Redeemer, we embark on a profound journey of relationship with Him. Through baptism, we invite the Holy Spirit to renew our hearts and minds, igniting within us a deep desire to reflect Christ’s character in all we do.
Christ has laid the groundwork for a joyful and abundant life throughout the New Testament, teaching us how to embody the essence of true Christianity. This foundation for every believer is built on the following principles:
Love the Lord Your God:
To love the Lord your God means to fully devote yourself to Him—heart, soul, and strength. This encompasses a deep, passionate commitment that influences every aspect of your life, guiding your thoughts, emotions, and actions. It calls for an unwavering faith and a desire to cultivate a personal relationship with Him, reflecting His love in all you do. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
---
Confess:
Confession is the act of acknowledging our sins and shortcomings before God. It involves a heartfelt admission that we have missed the mark and a sincere desire for His forgiveness. When we confess, we rely on God’s faithfulness and justice to cleanse us and restore our relationship with Him, freeing us from guilt and unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
---
Keep His Command:
To keep God’s commandments is to actively live out our love for Him through obedience. It signifies a commitment to follow His teachings, recognizing that these commands are not burdensome but are meant to guide us toward a fulfilling and righteous life. Obeying His commandments is an expression of our love for God and our desire to align our lives with His will. (1 John 5:3)
---
Love One Another:
Loving one another is a fundamental principle rooted in the very nature of God. It calls us to actively demonstrate love, compassion, and kindness to others, recognizing that true love originates from God. By loving others, we show that we are born of God and truly know Him. Conversely, a lack of love reveals a disconnect from His essence, as God is love itself. (1 John 4:7-8)
---
Indulge in the Fruits of the Spirit:
To indulge in the Fruits of the Spirit means to embrace and embody qualities such as compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. It involves actively practicing forgiveness and love, creating a harmonious community. By allowing the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts, we cultivate gratitude and a spirit of unity, reflecting the character of God in our interactions with others. (Colossians 3:12-15)
---
Rejoice Through Trials:
Rejoicing through trials means finding joy even in the midst of suffering, understanding that challenges are opportunities for growth. Suffering builds endurance, which in turn shapes our character and fosters hope. This hope is anchored in God’s love, poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, assuring us that our struggles serve a greater purpose. (Romans 5:3-5)
---
Set Yourself Apart from the World’s Desires:
Setting yourself apart from the world’s desires involves a conscious decision to resist conformity to societal norms and values that conflict with God’s teachings. It calls for a transformative renewal of the mind, enabling you to discern God’s will—what is good, acceptable, and perfect. This transformation empowers you to live a life that reflects His glory rather than the fleeting desires of the world. (Romans 12:2)
---
Seeking the Knowledge of God:
Seeking the knowledge of God is a passionate pursuit of understanding His nature, will, and purposes for our lives. It involves studying His Word, engaging in prayer, and cultivating a relationship with Him that deepens our faith and equips us to live according to His truth. This quest for knowledge leads to wisdom and a closer walk with God, enriching our lives and guiding our decisions.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith the following: virtue, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, and ultimately, love. (2 Peter 1:5-7)
---
Helping the Poor:
In everything I have demonstrated that through hard work, we must support the weak, keeping in mind the words of our Lord Jesus, who said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
---
Generosity:
No greater love exists than when someone lays down their life for their friends. (John 15:13)
---
Christlike:
Embrace the Lord Jesus Christ and do not indulge in the desires of the flesh. (Romans 13:14)
---
Glorify God in All You Do:
In all things, strive to be a model of good works. In your teaching, demonstrate integrity, dignity, and sound speech beyond reproach, so that those who oppose you may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. (Titus 2:7-8)
---
Focus on What is Good:
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable—if there is any excellence or anything worthy of praise—think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)
